Your LIC second workshop set for December 16

The second ‘Your LIC’ workshop is scheduled for Monday, December 16 at Hunters Point Community Middle School.

The topic of this workshop will be resiliency and public open space.

Like the first workshop, this one will be facilitated by Dr. Gail Mellow, former president of LaGuardia Community College, and Bishop Mitchell Taylor, co-founder of Urban Upbound.

The workshop will feature a presentation from SHoP Architects, SHAPE Landscape Architecture, and Sherwood Design Engineers about long-term urban resiliency and equitable park access.

The workshop kicks off at 6 p.m.
