Three companies looking to shape the development of the Long Island City waterfront are planning a series of public workshops over the next several months.
TF Cornerstone, Simon Baron Development and L&L MAG collectively launched “Your LIC,” a public engagement process for the 28-acre site.
They will host four public workshops and online engagements on neighborhood priorities, including career development, resiliency and open space, community resources and neighborhood planning.
The first workshop is set for Thursday, November 21 at 6 p.m. at Jacob Riis Neighborhood Settlement. The topic will be economic empowerment and career development.
From November 19-23, community members can also engage in the conversation online at yourlic.nyc.
