The sixth year of participatory in District 26, which includes LIC, Sunnyside and Woodside, is now underway.
Councilman Jimmy Van Bramer is committing a minimum of $1 million to projects that receive the most votes from residents. In the last cycle, his office funded $2.05 million for five projects.
Here’s the schedule for the rest of the neighborhood assemblies, which are community residents where residents brainstorm capital project ideas.
