Grassland Dairy donates butter to City Harvest in LIC

Grassland Dairy donated 2,000 pounds of butter to City Harvest in Long Island City at the beginning of the month.

Altogether, the company and donated more than 10,000 pounds of butter across the country during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The impact of this public health pandemic has been swift and significant, and as we’ve seen across the country, there has been an immediate surge in the number of people who are now relying on their local food pantries,” said Trevor Wuethrich, president of Grassland Dairy.

“We are compelled to contribute to the relief effort by donating in this way.”

Headquartered in Greenwood, Wisconsin, Grassland Dairy is a five-generation, family-owned company of butter crafters.
