On Wednesday, March 28 at 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM the New York Irish Center (1040 Jackson Avenue) will be having an Easter egg making workshop.
Brightly decorated eggs, bunnies, and egg hunts have become synonymous with Easter celebrations across the country. Historically in Ireland, many would abstain from eating eggs and meat during Lent. Easter was the first chance to eat eggs after a long period of abstinence.
To celebrate this long-standing tradition, The New York Irish Center will be making chocolate eggs and decorating them in this fun and tasty afternoon art class.
The event is free but registration is required!
