Real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has been tapped as the exclusive leasing agent for “The Mill LIC,” a 56,000-square-foot brewery in Long Island City.
Located at 46-24 28th Street, near LaGuardia Community College, the building has a mezzanine, three floors, lower level with elevator access and outdoor communal space.
The floors can be leased separately or combined, which gives the tenant the ability to use the entire facility or be flexible with the space.
The building was once home to E&J Burke, importers and bottlers of Bass’ Ale and Guinness Stout in the mid-1930s.
The area has access to eight subway lines, the East River Ferry, Long Island Railroad, Citi Bike stations and major highways and bridges.
“With ownerships’ investment and recent innovations, the property is essentially brand new, but still has an incredibly rich history,” said Joshua Kleinberg of Cushman & Wakefield. “The modern, open floor plans, and high ceilings are perfect for an innovative company to lease unique space that inspires creativity and increases productivity.”
